Xavier Bontoux

Xavier BONTOUX is a partner, Certified specialist in labour law and social security law. He is a Managing Partner of BDO AVOCATS in LYON, in charge of the management of a department of lawyers specialised in employment litigation.

He is also C.E.O of the " Accidents at work and occupational diseases " branch of BDO via its subsidiary BDO RH.

Scope of work

With 20 years of professional practice, he is recognized as a specialist in labour law, defending employers in court.

He is involved in all stages of a company's litigation life: disputes relating to recruitment, execution of the employment contract, termination of the contract, disciplinary, electoral and administrative litigation.

He also handles collective disputes: strikes, disputes with trade union representatives, objections from staff representatives....

He is also likely to defend employers in criminal cases (harassment, discrimination, industrial accidents, French administrative proceedings).

• Participated in the "Léon SALTO" report of the Economic and Social Council at the request of the President of the Republic to the draft law reforming Sunday work ;
